How far is it to the beach?

Playa Santa Teresa is only a short flip-flop walk away. It takes 3-4 minutes to walk. When you wake up early you can often hear the waves breaking when you step out side the house.

What about internet connection and Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi of course. We have the best possible internet connection that you can get in Santa Teresa. You cannot expect it to be as good and stable as in a large city. We have hosted a number of remote working guests that have been satisfied with the internet service.

We are coming with a rental car, do you have free parking?

Parking can be a problem is some neighbourhoods in Santa Teresa. We have a private parking inside the property premises. We also have a second parking just outside the house. No need to park in the street when you stay with us.

Can we bring a pet?

Sorry, no pets allowed.

Is there an ocean view?

The villa is close to the beach but no sea view. Most of the houses with ocean view in Santa Teresa are further from the sea and comes with a very steep and hard walk/drive uphill.
Getting to Costa Va De Villa does not require a steep and long walk/drive.
Another thing to consider is the house location relative to the main road. Houses close to the main road gets a lot of noise and dust. Costa Va De Villa is located far enough from the main road but still before the roads gets step. See location.

Are the surfboards in the pictures included?

No, the surfboards are private. We recommend to go Denga Surf Shop and rent surfboards. It is located just 150 meters from the house (towards the beach).

Can you recommend a nanny?

Yes, we can help you with getting a nanny. Both Spanish and/or English speaking. The rates are modest and paid by the hour.

How do I get to Santa Teresa?

Air

Domestic flight from San Jose (SJO) to Tambor. The flight takes about 20 minutes. From Tambor to Santa Teresa is  about 40 minutes by taxi. We can help you arrange taxi. Just let us know a few days before.

Land

You can also go by land. Either by car, by local bus or by shuttle from San Jose. Takes around 4 hours in total including 1 hour ferry. The local bus is very cheap and does not take much longer than if you drive. We actually prefer the bus to shuttle services. It is much cheaper and takes the same amount of time.
